The Massachusetts State Parks have locations in all regions of the Commonwealth, from Pittsfield to Boston, and from Gloucester to Provincetown. They include beaches, wooded parks, parkways, and reservoirs, each with its own unique activities and amenities like hiking, biking, swimming and boating, camping, and more.

Pass Benefits

This pass allows unlimited day-use parking access to state park facilities within the Department Of Conservation and Recreation that charge a parking fee*. Double check with parks for updated COVID rules.

These include: Borderland State Park, Demarest Lloyd State Park, Horseneck Beach State Reservation, Myles Standish State Forest, South Cape Beach State Park, Scusset Beach State Reservation, Ashland State Park, Bradley Palmer State Park, Cochituate State Park, Great Brook Farm State Park, Halibut Point State Park, Harold Parker State Forest, Hopkinton State Park, Maudslay State Park, Pearl Hill State Park, Salisbury Beach State Reservation, Walden Pond State Reservation, Willard Brook State Forest.

*not valid for use at Quabbin Reservoir, Squantum Point, Northpoint, or Draw Seven Commuter Lots.

This pass must be picked up and returned at the library. Passes can be checked out a day prior to the registration if available. Passes must be returned either the date of the reservation, or by 9:30am the following day.

 ***If passes are late, the user's account will be blocked and a $60 charge will be placed on it. Late passes restricts other patrons' ability to reserve them. Please be courteous!***

Any passes reserved for Sunday must be picked up on Saturday, and returned to the library by 9:30am on Tuesday.

All passes must be returned either at the front desk or in the AV bookdrop slot inside the case it was checked out in.
